About Me
Hi 👋 I’m Henry, a freelance composer and multi-instrumentalist. I make adventurous, folk and classical inspired soundtracks for video games and other media. My favourite style to write is RPG and fantasy, but I’m happy in any genre 😇! My debut album ‘Music for an Untold Story’ is a love letter to magical RPG worlds available to stream now on all major platforms.
I’ve been freelancing in since 2020 as a VGM composer, and I also collect folk instruments from all over the world which feature a lot in my music. I’ve always loved immersive game worlds, and I believe music is the lifeblood of a good game. Soundtracks are vital for crafting compelling, memorable and immersive stories. I’m committed to making beautiful, meaningful music which sticks with you long after a game is over.
Some of my favourite soundtracks include Abzû and Journey (Austin Wintory), The Last Guardian (Takeshi Furukawa), Beyond Good and Evil (Christophe Héral), and by anything by Koji Kondo, Yoko Shimomura, and Yoko Kanno.
I grew up in the UK, but I’ve been lucky to spend some time travelling across Europe, North + South America, working as a musician. I speak English, French, and Spanish, a bit of German, and am learning Japanese.
Open to commissions, with rates on a project-by-project basis (depending on your needs). Get in touch via the contact page, or via my socials.
